Job Title: Officer- Hardware installations and Maintenance
Job code: HRM/073/603
Role: to maintain the URA IT and Network Hardware infrastructure as per best industry practice and in accordance with the URA ICT Strategy

Qualifications:
• At least a higher diploma in a relevant field
• A relevant professional certification such as CISCO or MCSE oe equivalent will be an added advantage

Experience and Knowledge:
• At least 2 years’ experience in maintenance of IT hardware and network infrastructure in a large corporate environment
• Should be familiar with operating systems such as Windows 7, windows XP, Unix/ Linux, and working with the TCP/IP protocol

Character
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Customer focused, sensitive to high quality services
• Ability to work on cross functional project teams from diverse business areas
• Ability to manage challenges in a high tempo/stress environment
• High integrity, team player and potential leader
• Self motivated, innovative, can work independently and as a team member

Special Requirements:
• Must be able o sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
• Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment
• Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/ or weekend if required
