BRAND MANAGER -
Salary $2500 TELECOM

Main Purpose of Job
To plan, develop and direct the marketing efforts for the Warid brand.
To maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.

Experience:
• Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
• Working knowledge of electronic and print production work in order to judge timelines, costs and quality output.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Working knowledge of relevant software applications
• A deep understanding of the advertising process is required.

Education:
• Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification

Roles
To support increase in trial, uptake and growth of Warid products and services.
Drive positive brand affinity.
Responsible for maximizing Share of Voice in Print and Electronic media within limits of the allocated budget.
Manage relationship with the advertising agency which includes briefing, workflow, deadlines, costs and quality on all work channeled through the agency.
Oversee brand consistency in the market place with regard to all communication that goes out.
Prepare and justify advertising campaigns as per needs articulated form various departments and stakeholders.
Tracking media advertising costs for Electronic and print media.
Support internal initiatives that require brand/ marketing input.
Design and production of the staff magazine.
Consolidating the Monthly marketing report to Financial Planning
Give special emphasis to sales/ trade support to increase brand visibility and activity in the trade
