Job Title: OFFICE MANAGER
NGO: Uganda Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association
Background
Uganda Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (ULPGA) is a newly formed voice of exceptional energy set up to bring together the Dealers, importers and marketers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas in Uganda. The association’s mission is to promote the groups interests of all manufacturers, distributors and users of liquefied petroleum gas in the Uganda.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide overall leadership and guidance in the development, implementation and monitoring the strategic development of the association. The association seeks to recruit an Office Manager. The vacancy exists at the Associations office in Kampala, Uganda.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Co-ordinate strategic Planning, program development and review and evaluate processes
2. Guide program, operational planning, implantation and monitoring processes
3. Enforce adherence to program-specific procedures for requisition and reporting expenditures in accordance with Financial Policy and Procedures Manual, as set out by the Directors
4. Provide quality assurance to program related communication to both internal and external stakeholders of Uganda Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association
5. Supervise, motivate, appraise staff in the office and build the capacity of program and non-program staff in line with the Associations strategy and policies.
6. Participate in the recruitment processes in line with Associations requirements and contribute to the development and execution of a plan for acquiring and developing key talent.
7. Contribute to resource mobilization by providing quality assurance to proposal development.
8. Provide leadership in partner identification, appraisal and capacity building processes.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
A Degree from a recognized University in appropriate Social Science discipline with charitable skills. A postgraduate study in business management is an added advantage.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration is on voluntary arrangement for the first three months
Reasonable upkeep offered to the incumbent.
