Job Description (Duties):
Brief Description:
The Network support engineers function is to liaise with other teams within the Company and first level support from clients to give a 24/7/365 support to all IP Support clients.
Responsibilities:
* Manage relationship with customers' technical department personnel.
* Manage and configure all microwave equipment.
* Manage all client graphs.
* Actively monitor all network elements.
* Perform first level trouble shooting.
* Perform gateway troubleshooting.
* Provision/integrate INTERNET links for clients on routers.
* Assist in generating weekly and monthly reports.
* Attend service review sessions with customers.
* And any other duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
* Daily report and weekly reports.
* Review of daily tickets.
* Feedback from customer support and clients.
* Review from meetings.
Necessary Qualifications:
* Minimum University degree in the relevant field from a recognized University.
* Relevant certifications will be an added advantage
* 2 yrs in an ISP, mobile operator or network equipment vendor.
* Experience in configuration and installation of microwave links desired.
* Desire to acquire knowledge and progression.
* Willingness to take up desired tasks.
