Job Title: Industry & Market Analyst
Reports to: Manager Economic Regulation

Key Result Areas
• Develop and maintain up to date operational reporting framework for all licensed service providers including voice, data, post, courier, broadcast and multimedia service providers
• Manage the design, content and access to the sector monitoring data bank
• Prepare and disseminate quarterly and annual market performance reports covering all subsectors within the commission’s jurisdiction
• Develop policy advisory papers on economic and commercial matters as may be mandated by the commission

Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in economics, statistics or related degree
• A post graduate qualification is an advantage
• Proficiency in the use of statistical analysis packages
• The candidate should demonstrate good understanding of utility regulation principles and regulatory policy development

Experience:
• At least 3 years experience in a related field
• Relevant experience in data management, econometric modeling, and competition assessment is an added advantage
