Job Title: SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER (1 VACANCY)
Scale: U3 (upper) Age: 25 Years and above
Terms of appointment: Probation for 6 months.
Minimum Qualifications: Honours Bachelors Degree in procurement/purchasing and supplies, or honours degree in any of the following discipline: Business Administration or commerce (procurement and supplies option) from a recognised university or institution or CIPS, Membership of a relevant professional institution is an added advantage. Computer knowledge is a requirement. Should have 3 years working experience in the same field in government or reputable organization.
Duties: Developing appropriate systems, procedures and guidelines for the procurement secretariat and contracts committee. Taking a lead in the preparation of bid documents for high value and highly specialised procurement. Participate in evaluation of bids for high value and specialised procurement
