Job Title: Town Clerk (Principal Township Officer )
Terms: Probation/Permanent/Contract
Salary scale: U2 Lower
Age limit: 30-50 years.

Minimum Qualification:-
• An Honours Degree in any relevant Social Sciences or Arts or Business Administration PLUS a Post Graduate Diploma In either Public Administration, Management or Urban Management and Planning.
• A Certificate in law is a Must,

• Should have interpersonal skills;
• Should have management skills.
• Should have ability to motivate and train subordinates.
• Should have negotiation skills.
• At least six years experience with broad exposure to management and the Administration of Local Council units.

Duties:-
• Budget for and ensure proper expenditure and accountability for Council funds,
• Advise Council on legal and Administrative matters.
• Ensure effective implementation of lawful decisions taken by coun¬cil.
• Supervise and Coordinate the activities of all staff seconded to the Council.
• Effectively representing Council at different fora.
• Ensure safe custody and accountability for Council assets and facilities
