Job Title: Forestry Officer
Terms: Probation/Permanent/Contract
Salary scale: U4 Upper
Age limit: 25 - 45 years.

Minimum Qualifications:-
• An Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from a recog¬nized University.
• Administrative and Public relations skills.

Duties:-
• Control illegal activities in the Forest Reserve.
• Manage productive activities in the Forest Reserves such as timber harvesting.
• Provide Technical support to the wood based industries.
• Provide forest extension support to farm and plantation developers.
• Carry out research in established sample plots.
• Support the development of ecotourism
• Collect revenue from harvested forest products.
• Carryout supervision in the forestry department.
