Minimum Qualifications:-
• A Degree in Medicine from a recognized University or Institution.
• A post graduate Diploma in Public health Sciences is an added
• Planning and ensuring the effective delivery of curative health services.
• Supervising and evaluating the performance of the hospital staff.
• Diagnosing diseases and prescribing treatment for patients.
• Managing the proper maintenance of infrastructure and logistics of the hospital.
• Reviewing and evaluating patients undergoing treatment.

Duties

• Planning and ensuring effective implementation of outreach health services
• Accounting for the hospital financial and physical resources.
• Developing and ensuring effective implementation of staff development programmes and training of interns, nursing and allied health professional trainees.
• Ensuring that the hospital operates according to set standards and that staff adhere to professional ethics of health practice.
• Promoting proper public health practices in the local communities.
• Liaising with other instructions and agencies in promoting the health of the community.
