Job Title: Senior Treasurer
Terms: Probation/Permanent/ Contract.
Salary scale: U3 Upper
Age limit: 25 - 50 years.
Minimum Qualifications:-
• Honours Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a Bias in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant PLUS Post Graduate Qualification in Financial Management from a recognized University or Institution.
• Addition-Ability to handle public finances and management skills. At least three years experience in required.
Duties:-
• Maintain control of main and subsidiary accounts Supervise and control revenue collection and expenditure.
• Verify financial documents and payments to avoid forgeries and fraud.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reconciliation.
• Prepare estimates of expenditure for the council.
• Advise the council on financial matters.
• Guide and develop staff working in accounts/finance division.
