Job Title; Program Officer - Keeping Children and Mothers alive
Reports to; Program Focal Person
Location: Provincial Secretariat, Namirembe Hill, Willis Road
Role:
The incumbent will oversee the overall implementation of keeping Mothers and children alive activities in Church of Uganda medical facilities and in the focus Dioceses.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to Diocesan staff and partners to draw and review work plans in line with programme.
• Resource management and resource mobilization Monitoring and evaluation Advocacy and representation

Job requirement

Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor of Science in public health, Medicine, Health
Masters in Public Health with additional training in project planning and management will be an added advantage.

Competencies required:
•Minimum of five years' experience in health related program implementation preferable HIV/A1DS, Maternal health, water sanitation and current regimes of malaria treatment.
•Experience in training health and other professionals in areas of H1V/AIDS, maternal health and malaria preferred.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other team members and external parties.
•Mature Christian and a person of integrity.
•Adequate knowledge of the Uganda health system reforms and policy developments relevant to facility based health services
• Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Good networking and advocacy skills.
