JOB TITLE : OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
This position is responsible to the Head Finance and Administration
(HFA) for the direction. The Office Administrator will identify, plan and implement set objectives to ensure the organization's overall effectiveness especially in Human Resources functions, general office administration, fleet maintenance and coordination of procurement processes. Additionally, the Office Administrator will assist in the production of reports and follow-up communication,

Key job responsibilities
• Effectively maintain and manage matters relating to Human resources including timely update of HR records, coordination of staff recruitments and orientation and ensuring staff discipline,"
• Assist the HFA in the development and implementation of relevant Human resources policies and guidelines for the effective motivation, development and performance management of ULS staff,
• Assist the HFA in the servicing and maintenance of ULS assets and machinery while ensuring timely value for money.
• Ensuring the regular cleanliness and orderliness of the ULS secretariat and all ULS upcountry clinics
• Provide Administrative support to ail ULS projects and activities, through timely provision of office logistics.
• Ensure the availability of proper security for all equipment, vehicles, buildings and all ULS offices.
• Supervise and oversee the activities of the Secretarial and support personnel. .
• Regularly coordinate the procurement and receipt of goods, services and works while ensuring value for money with respect to both quality and cost
• Provide secretarial functions for management meetings and others as may be requested from time to time.

Job requirement

Qualifications and Skills:
• A holder of a degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years office management experiences preferably in a non- profit making organizations with familiarity in grants funded

Other desired Attributes
An understanding of relevant employment legislation, policies and procedures as well as office administration, has analytical and problem solving skills
Has ability to work in a computerized environment with good knowledge of spreadsheets and word pressing programs, stress and time management skills
