POST: SENIOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING OFFICER
Salary: Uganda Government Scale U3
Reports to: Principal Education Officer
(i) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Education or Community and Adult Education from a recognized Institution.
(ii) Specialization in Special Needs Education or Post graduate qualifications in Education would be an added advantage
(iii) A minimum of three (3) years working experience at the level of Education Officer or Training Officer in Government or equivalent experience from a reputable organization.
(iv) The following Competencies are required:
a. Education/training management
b. Communicating effectively
c. Planning, organizing and coordinating
d. Computer literacy
a. Ethics and integrity
Duties and Responsibilities
(I) Designing and organizing training and sensitization programmes,
(ii) Developing sensitization manuals, messages and posters
(iii) Conducting training and sensitization programmes.
(iv) Evaluating training and sensitization programmes
(v) Compiling and submitting periodic reports,
(vi) Any other duties as may be assigned from, time to time.
