POST : PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATIONS OFFICER
REF: HRM/EOC/2010/02 Salary: Uganda Government Scale U2
Reports to: Assistant Commissioner Legal Services and Investigations
Minimum Qualifications
(i) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Law or Social sciences or Social Work and Social Administration from a recognized University or Institution.
(ii) Post graduate qualifications in investigation.
(iii) A minimum of six (6) years working experience three of which should have been served at the level of Senior Officer in the investigations field in Government or equivalent experience from a reputable organization.
(iv)The following Competencies are required:

d. Communicating effectively
e. Computer Literacy
f. Ethics and integrity
Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Investigating discrimination issues on the Commission's accord or upon receipt of a complaint from the public concerning equal opportunities.
(ii) Managing case files and assembling evidence.
(iii) Ensuring safe custody of investigation reports, evidence and exhibits.
(iv) Compiling and submitting periodic reports.
(v) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
