POST : SENIOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER
REF: HRM/EOC/2010/03 Salary: Uganda Government scale U3
Minimum Qualifications
(i) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Quantitative: Economics or Economics or Statistics or Social Sciences or Development Studies from a recognized Institution.
(ii) Post graduate qualification in monitoring and: evaluation will be an added advantage. (iii) A minimum of three (3) years working experience at the level of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Government or equivalent level of experience in a reputable organization.
(iv) The following Competencies are required:
a) Equal opportunities analysis
b) Communicating effectively
c) Computer literacy
d) Project management
e) Ethics and Integrity
Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Undertaking equal opportunities policy analysis, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of policy implementation. (ii) Developing monitoring and evaluation indicators for the Commission for monitoring of compliance. (iii) Monitoring and evaluating plans, programmes and projects to ensure that equal opportunities concerns
are addressed and are in accordance with the National Development Plan.
(iv) Providing information on the performance of various parties or stakeholders in respect to equal opportunities.
(v) Compiling and submitting periodic reports.
(vi) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
