Communications Officer Job at Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda

Job Title: Communications Officer

Report s to: Chief executive Officer

Major Duties:
• Plan, develop, implement, Public Relations Strategies designed to create and maintain good Public image for the authority.
• Liaise with and answer enquiries from the media, individuals and other organizations concerning the Authority
• Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media
• Maintain and update information on the organization website

Person Specifications:
• At least a Bachelors degree in, mass communication, Public administration or social Works and Social Administration from a recognized university
• Three years experience in public relations is an added advantage
• Strong but affable character
