Job Title: Research and Development Officer

Reports to: The assistant Director Market Research and Development

Purpose of the Job:
To ensure creation of insurance awareness to the public and enable the promotion of insurance business in the country in compliance with the Insurance Act
Major Duties:
• Planning, designing and conducting collaborative research and surveys on insurance industry performance, trends, business and risks to address the challenges faced by the sector
• Development and implementation of monitoring systems for tracking fundamental economic, financial and corporate developments in the insurance industry both locally and internationally in order to inform policy formulation

Person Specifications:
• At least a relevant Degree and a post graduate Diploma in policy formulation or marketing management research
• At least 3 years working experience
• Ability to develop research proposals
