Base Administrator job Vacancy- Action Against Hunger (ACF)

Action Against Hunger (ACF) is an international humanitarian NGO. For over thirty years it has been implementing Food security and Livelihoods, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Lira, Apac, Oyam, Gulu, Kaabong and Moroto Districts.

Position: Base Administrator

Start Date: ASAP

ACF is looking for a Base Administrator to be based in Lira. The person will be under the direct supervision of the ACF Head of Region for Northern Uganda with technical reporting to the Administration Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for finance, human resources management and ensuring respect and proper implementation of ACF rules, regulations and procedures at base level.

Specific Responsibilities:
Finance:
Cash management, Accountancy using SAGA software, monthly cash projection, cash reconciliation, internal controls.
Human Resource:
Implementation and follow up of HR policies and procedures, preparation of staff contracts, rental contracts, preparation of payroll, in charge of leave administration, overtime, supervision of support staff.
General:
Maintenance of a proper filing system, in charge of communicating personnel and administrative updates to staff in the Base

Academic Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in the required field

Specific Skills:

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support, field staff.
Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Power point, internet, and email are a must.

Personal skills
Ability to communicate with national and international multicultural team.
