Brief Description



To manage the aircraft flight deck library



Detailed Description



1. Review and appove Jeppesen Electronic Terminal charts and Airport Moving Map for EFB use

2. Ensuring Aircraft EFB Class 1 Tablet PCs in the cockpit have the most current and up-to-date flight and navigation information.

3. Set up and manage an organized Aircraft library that contains current flight operations manuals and procedures as required by KCAA.

4. Ensure that the flight deck library is at all times maintained to the required operational safety standards while maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction.

5. Update the aircraft library catalogue to reflect the current revision status of each document on the flight deck.

6. Procure, replenish and identify commonly used documents to ensure timely, availability and replacement when missing or worn out.

7. Ensure aircraft flight deck library documents are properly stored, referenced, revised, reviewed , updated, maintained and distributed

8. Manage the disposal of aircraft documents as per the company disposal procedures

9. Track expiry dates for Aircraft certificates and fleet notices renewals and prompt the relevant managers for appropriate action

10. Capture and compile operational data and queries from voyage reports and document defect pad, so as to provide trend analysis for measuring aircraft document integrity.




Job Requirements





* University graduate in Aeronautical courses OR IATA Diploma in Flight Operations.
* Diploma in IT
* Airline Documentation Certificate
* Two (2) years experience in Flight Operations.
* KCSE minimum C grade
* Thorough Knowledge in KQ route network.
* Aircraft Documentation
* IT Skills.
* Thorough knowledge in Aeronautical information services





Additional Details



* Organized aircraft library and Aircraft certificate currency.
* Up to date Jeppesen Electronic Terminal Charts and Airport Moving Map in the EFB
* Serviceable Class 1 EFB Tablet PCs
* Aircraft library audit findings and observations
