Brief Description
To ensure the right execution of outsourced maintenance activities and improvement projects to meet to meet company business, aviation authority and third party requirements in the assigned area
Detailed Description
* Develop and implement new planning & programs activities within the section
* Analyze historical data to improve the processes / products of the section
* Act as technical representative to MRO when maintenance work is outsourced and act as team leader on behalf of manager technical planning responsible for executing contracts on outsourcing checks/ components/ aircraft leases.
* Creating plan for aircraft checks, incorporating painting and main components changes like landing gears, APU and engines for use in technical department budget preparation.
* Create a material, component and capacity requirement plan based on the MPD and aircraft on ground for planning by other sections.
* Communicate with other KQ departments concerning maintenance actions.
* Assess and develop proposals for outsourced and 3rd party maintenance contracts.
* Create and update the 5-year plan of production activities and providing the costs of required materials for use as part of Technical budget preparation process,
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* Graduate engineer from a recognized university (mechanical, aeronautical electrical/electronics)
* Experience in maintenance programs and/or production planning & control
* At least two years of experience in technical planning or similar department.
* Proved experience in managing aircraft or other projects.
* Planning courses
* Knowledge of database software
